"The Food as Medicine Global conference surpassed all of my expectations. Online conferences can be difficult to pay attention to, but not this one, each speaker was unique, interesting, and brought new perspectives. I felt this conference was so much more than the same old ideas, it was fresh and exciting ideas around food as medicine by speakers who were making a difference in their communities. I felt that this conference is just the beginning of building an incredible and diverse community to advance food as medicine globally."

Welcome to our growing global network of health professionals, farmers, gardeners, fishers, foragers, ranchers, subsistence hunters, healers, hospitals, clinics, educators, students, wild-crafters, cooks, consumers, pastoralists, forest producers, and many others united by a shared vision of food sovereignty and health justice for all.
Together, we are cultivating a vibrant community where we can learn from one another and work toward a more equitable and inclusive food as medicine movement worldwide.
The idea of food as medicine resonates with many in health care and food production. Nutrition is increasingly integrated into health professional training, patient care, and discussions around farming, fishing, ranching, and other food systems. However, people across many communities who want to eat well cannot access healthy or even enough food. Many of those producing and providing our food and health care navigate a multitude of inequities.
The purpose of our Community Guidelines is to ensure that this space remains respectful and welcoming, even when viewpoints differ.
In that spirit, we ask that you follow these guidelines as we continue to grow:
